Waste2table Limited is a company that puts into action the principles of the circular economy by recycling Organic and food waste to create sustainable agricultural products and inputs.
Our offerings include liquid organic fertilizers, compost, animal feed, and livestock. In addition, we provide consulting services such as customized training and advisory services to assist with compost and biogas production using locally available residual waste and the creation of protein-based animal feed components such as Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL).
In today's world, we are increasingly aware of the impact our actions have on the environment. Recycling has become an integral part of our daily lives as we strive to reduce waste and preserve our planet.
Organic and Food waste is an unfortunate yet inevitable byproduct of your business, and in an industry where waste is a growing concern, transparency, responsibility, and accountability are key.
Organic waste, such as plants, food scraps, and manure, is introduced into a hermetically sealed tank, where it undergoes decomposition by anaerobic bacteria. These bacteria generate methane and various other gases, which are then extracted as biogas.
The end product of the recycling and composting process is a sustainable agricultural product that can enhance soil health and crop yields.
Our Grade “A” compost and organic fertilizer are excellent sources of nutrients for plants and soil rejuvenation.
At Waste2Table, our long-term objective of the Organic Agriculture Programme is to enhance food security, rural development, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental integrity by building capacities of member countries in organic production, processing, certification, and marketing.
Black soldier flies are considered to be sanitary, as they’re designed to break down the bacteria in their food. They’re so efficient at this that there’s no bacteria in their waste once they’ve digested it. BSF farming is environmentally safe and sustainable.
We recognize that traditional livestock farming practices can be detrimental to the planet, and we are committed to implementing sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and our customers.
Circular Economy
Our Circular economy and integrated farm system aims to minimize waste and maximize the use of resources by keeping materials in use for as long as possible. Products and materials are reused, repaired, and recycled rather than discarded as waste. Here are some advantages of our circular economy:
- Reduces waste: By keeping materials in use for longer, circular economy reduces the amount of waste that is generated, which can help reduce the environmental impact of our production and consumption patterns.
- Saves resources: Circular economy makes more efficient use of resources, as products and materials are reused, repaired, and recycled instead of being discarded. This can help preserve natural resources and reduce the need for new resource extraction.
- Creates jobs: The transition to a circular economy can create new job opportunities in areas such as repair, remanufacturing, and recycling. This can help support local economies and provide new sources of employment.
- Reduces greenhouse gas emissions: Circular economy can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by minimizing the need for new resource extraction, reducing the amount of waste that is sent to landfills, and promoting more sustainable production and consumption patterns. This can help mitigate the impact of climate change.
